some newer paintings   These are some of the paintings that were exhibited in Big Show, a large group exhibition held in May 2005 in an old billiard hall on College St. in Toronto. They mark a return to acrylic paint after several years working almost exclusively in oils. Click on the thumbnails for a bigger image and more commentary. Looking at these pictures as thumbnails is deceptive - the painting on the top left is almost six feet wide. The three diptychs are only 18 inches wide.
